Started reading The 'Nam last week. Interesting book. I like Michael Golden's art. He must've been an inspiration for McFarlane. I like that with each issue, a month has passed for the characters. That's a unique idea.

Has anyone read Miracleman? Thinking about giving that a try as well.

DC straight turned their backs on my boys Tim Drake, Kyle Rayner, and Wally West :wow:

Damn shame. Tim, Kyle and Wally ARE Robin, GL and Flash for a generation of comic book readers, including myself. I don't care about Damien and I'm indifferent towards Hal and Barry. At least Tim and Kyle go to move onto other hero identities. It's been straight up disgusting how Wally has been handled ever since they brought Barry back. I guess it's all because DiDio supposedly doesn't like him?

DiDio doesn't like both Nightwing and Wally, IIRC. Any legacy character, really.

I used to work in a comic shop in NYC and DiDio came in with his wife. Everyone there knew I was a huge Nightwing/dikk Grayson fan. So I walked around recommending people Nightwing comics as loud as possible. Everyone including his wife was cracking up. He just walked around like he didn't hear me.

Yup. All three had dope books and were popular. Geoff Johns is to blame along with DiDio with not being able to let the past go, like bringing back the trunks for Superman and Batman. Growing up Hal felt like a relic and was boring, and Barry was someone that you heard about but never really saw. Usually I hate legacy characters, but those were organic changes that worked, imo

He was in the last hal jordan and the green lanterns wasn't he?

I think it was in a New 52 Book. He was stranded on sum planet looking like Tom Hanks from “Cast Away”.

After the box office success of Sony's Venom starring Tom Hardy, some fans have taken exception to Cates' run on the Venom comic. With Cates' reference to "shipping," it appears the fans who are lobbying the threats are in favor of a romantic relationship between Eddie and the symbiote, which fans ran with on social media following the film's release.
