Yup. This Nick Spencer run so far keeps beating us over the head that "Peter Parker is a perpetual fukk-up, even when he tries not to be." It's been very exhausting to read.
Same way The Flash beats us over the head that "Barry Allen keeps fukking up the DC universe."

if peter is a proverbial science genius with NOW and actual degree since ock completed college (
) Plus he has business mgmt skills on his resume, there shouldn't be NO REASON he should be broke AT ALL!!!

That STILL makes no sense, since Otto Octavius to the known world was dead anyways...
I mean I get it but seriously why wouldn't peter have money saved up from all his inventions in his company from before??? how does he go completely broke with NO funds left over. even people kicked outta companies receive golden parachutes, he couldn't offshore the bytch??? The shyt STILL makes no sense... he was a MULTI millionaire...

There's no way in hell any plagiarism wouldn't have been caught as soon as 'Peter' submitted his dissertation, especially when they said the entire thing was plagiarized.

Yeah that what I starting to hate about peter is that they write him like he in his teens even tho he in his mid to late twenties.That STILL makes no sense, since Otto Octavius to the known world was dead anyways...
It's always gonna be a conundrum with Peter Parker.
Fans mad Marvel deaded the marriage/baby and stunted his natural evolution as a father/husband
Fans mad Marvel progressed his naturally evolution into a genius millionaire inventor/scientist using his inventions and cash flow for the greater good.
And yea, there were some at the start of ANAD who didn't like that Peter used his glorified Reed Richards-lite intellect to finally level up in life and be more than the hard on his luck broke teacher/photographer/whatever going on 30 years old. Which is fine if u want to see him married with kid but still broke, but that selective growth wasn't lost on me. I personally find both (wife/kid + big career) to be logical if not now (given his age) then very soon.
That said, I also understand that he forever 'can't' progress in either direction for more than a few years, let alone in both bc Marvel wants to keep him 'young' forever.

I hate that regression Idea it does the character no favors...
People can love the idea of spiderman finally entering the big leagues and accomplishing his dreams...

Even Tony Stark was like why are you always struggling??? It's the writers man...
just let Peter finally grow up... he's in his 30's for crying out loud... A person with his intellect and super powers, and he's broke???

I was hopeful after Spencer's first issue but I am kinda over his idea of what Spiderman/Peter Parker should be.
It's a shame too because Ryan Ottley is the perfect artist for Spiderman but I am not feeling the writing on Amazing right now.
