What were some good mini-series releases during Secret Wars? I'm reading the Red Skull one, and it's dope. I read a few during the event, but wanna see if I missed some worth checking.

infinity gauntlet(wish they would have brought them into 616)
thors
civil war(better than both real events
ghost racers
inferno
squadron sinister
master of kung fu
hail hydra(that im aware of, theres no conclusion into 616 with this one, so be warned)
red skull
and renew your vows were ones that i really liked.

outside of like where monsters dwell, a lot of the minis could have used a few more issues to flesh things out. especially since they set up the fact that the worlds are all connected.

No Justice gets better and better with each issue, imo. Wasn't hyped when it started but now I'm all in

I really liked Siege, which if I remember correctly, is one of the few mini-series to actually have a direct tie-in to the main series. Also really liked Red Skull, and Runaways.

Looking back, that might've been the best Marvel event in a long time. Had more than a couple of months of lead up, shut all the main comics down for a few months so you aren't stuck with pointless tie-in issues that fukk up storylines, and the books introduced in their place were mostly interesting.
How does Siege tie-in?

It's a major plot point, so I'll throw it in a spoiler tag.

Thanos from the original universe gets himself caught so he can tell The Shield (which is just The Thing in giant rock wall form) that Doom is a fraud and remind him of his history with him. He decides Thanos might be right, and decides to leave and go see Doom. In one of the later issues of the main Secret Wars series, he shows up ready to fight

Ah yeah, I remember reading about that. Does Thanos show up a lot in that series? As a Thanos fan I collect his shyt where he has good panel time,

Lowkey, an MCU NOVA movie centered on the black fam would do bigger numbers than generic white guy #343243 Richard Rider.

He's just in the last issue. I thought his appearance is pretty good. One of the ones that reminds you that Thanos is also supposed to be smarter than most everyone.

Did Bendis turn Doom back into a villain or what?

Probably. He basically reset every other aspect of the character back to where he was pre Time Runs Out/Secret Wars. That sucks, since that period, along with the Infamous Iron Man runs were the most interested I've remembered being in the character in a while.
