Btw brehs, if you're not reading The Kamandi Challenge you're fukking up. That's easily the most enjoyable book DC puts out now. In case you don't know, it's a 12 issue limited series with each issue done by a different creative team who end each issue with an impossible cliffhanger for the next creative team to "solve". It's a super wild ride and got everyone fully channeling that awesome Jack Kirby-style storytelling that is so criminally absent from comics these days (Keith Giffen is a rare exception).

I am waiting for the trade so I can read it as one consecutive story and see the shifts from one creative team to the next.

It's like the story was already written with the real Tony and then the writer was told "surprise! he's in a coma", so he just gave him a hologram head and mentioned he's a Tony A.I.

It's evident they wanted to use regular Tony, because the characters in the book call him Tony and mention events and moments like he's a real person. plus, he somehow wears armors and hoodies around his hologram self.

The whole Ironheart /Doom thing flopped harder than Superior Iron Man.

They shoulda kept Superior Iron Man going for awhile. I liked that iRONMAN armor design

Anyone make it to Eternal Con in LI? Joe Kelly is cool as fukk...I got signed like 50 Deadpool issue and the graphic novel...no $$$ were asked. There weren't any lines either on Sunday maybe that is why Greg Pak and Nikki Virella get a thumbs up to....but I didn't run up on them with as many comics

That sounded stupid just from the headline alone but then when i read Brevoort's quote it became even more stupid sounding:

In addition to showing readers how Marvel history and continuity is “all connected,” the publisher promises the special will provide "shocks, twists, clues, and Easter eggs," set up the next year of Marvel storytelling and 53 MU series, and will feature a series of character returns, including "the most talked about return in comics."

Oh ... and the debut of the 1,000,000 BC Avengers - Odin, Iron Fist, Starbrand, Ghost Rider, Phoenix, Agamotto, and Black Panther - who come together for origin of the Marvel Universe.

He's still forcing the idea that Jessica Jones and Carol Danvers are best friends... while every other writer pretty much ignores JJ's existence when writing Carol in anything.

Civil War II has been treated like the cheap money grab that it was: they still gon use Iron Man and Hulk, nothing has changed with Hawkeye, nothing has changed with Carol.

But Rhodey gon stay dead tho

I'm not sure what's going on here. Is this the next big event after the current big event ends? Concurrent big events? Or is this just a new relaunching of books but instead of renumbering they're going back to the original adjusted numbers and pretending like this is something new? Or is it both a big event and a faux relaunch?
