Probably cost a grip too, that's why I hate buying Hip-hop vinyl, you'll barely find any used copies off albums like those. So you gotta pay for the represses.
It’s thx worst man! I really want to ask why hiphop vinyl cost so much. I copped a couple for under 15 but I don’t think they’re great pressings.. caught that first Black Moon album and Common Resurrection for 12 each.

crazy ass album. the "jazz fusion" era is one of my favorite eras in music, period! i wish i was around to witness all that funky shyt. so many gems.

chick corea and the gang astral traveled to the 4th dimension, dropped acid, decided to cut an album and then flew back to earth to present us this blessing.

i almost pissed myself when i saw this at the record shop. :mjlol:

That Era is responsible for every modern genre. But because it was made by mainly Black folks. Those artist will never get the real plaudits they.

Like I laugh when I see these Rolling Stones top whatever list. Telling some goofy progressive rock artist are the greatest ever, when they were literally trying to imitate what the likes off people like Donald Byrd, Pharoah and so many more where doing.

It's funny how those are artist have basically been completely left out of any music discussions, when they have literally had the most impact. And it's really sad that most Black folks don't even know these true geniuses.

shyt be bothering that some black folks can wax all day about Pink Floyd or some prog rock person. But don't know Pharoah, Roy Ayers, Lonnie Liston, Earland, and so many more.

I need that Les Nubians though. I’m going like Monday just to see what leftovers they have.

I bought way too much vinyl this year. I gotta slow down, as I’m out of storage space. Just hit up a thrift store yesterday and left with a bunch of decent stuff

Found a new spot here in KC and I went crazy the other day. So many white label 90s hip hop singles going b/w $1-7. Copped the High School High sdtrk for like $4.

All first press
George Benson: Breezin’
Dave and Ansell Collins: Double Barrel
G. Dep: Child of the Ghetto
Jadakiss: The Champ Is Here (Single)
Jermaine Dupri: The Party Continues (Single)
Keith Sweat: Make It Last Forever
LL Cool J: 4,3,2,1 (Single)
Miles Davis: In A Silent Way (like the third copy I’ve purchased)
Ras Kass: Soul on Ice Diamond D Remix (Single)
Roberta Flack: First Take
Cal Tjader: Sona Libre
Dr. Buzzards Original Savannah Band
Patti LaBelle: I’m in Love Again
Too Short: Life is…Too Short

Just the ones from Thursday’s haul.
