Update what's good with everyone's traveling and what are your plans?
One of my besties want to go to DR this summer, but I'm not really trying to do that again. She wants to go to fall in love with a Bachatero
My girl and her family wanna go to back to Cuba in the fall, which is always a good time for me.
The boys are thinking of doing a group trip to either Alberta Canada or somewhere on the Atlantic region. They done Nova Scotia 2 times now, and said they really enjoyed it and might do it a 3rd time. I'd probably reach this time, just because the guys are going even though I have no interest in going out east or west lol.
I love Canada but don't really wanna see Canada like that.

Late March/Early April - Nairobi and SA. Bit of work, bit of holiday
Late April - Seattle for work.
July 4th Weekend - Toronto and Montreal to see some of my classmates from high school.
Early August - Houston, ATL and Dallas. My cousin and my boy coming from London. Also got a conference.
Mid August - Nigeria. My boy is getting married and I’ll go visit family. May try to sneak in Accra as well.
October - Seattle for work but will head to Vancouver to see one of my school classmates.
December - Nigeria for the festive season. Either I do a 2-3 night layover in London to see my friends or add another African country to the mix.
I'm a government employee and these DOGE cuts got me rearranging and canceling travel plans, gotta watch my budget.
Charlotte next month, Monterrey in May and NYC in June. Beyond that I can't make any plans

The one benefit of being in the Bay is social activities, at least for what I like, aren’t as bountiful so I spend less it. If I were in NYC, back in DC or in LA that would be a different story.
Rent is expensive here but since this area is more outdoor focused, you don’t spend as much when you’re outside. Cycling, hiking, just being active and out in nature is big here
Those DC happy hours, brunches etc add up fast.
With Nigeria my biggest expense is just the flight. On ground expenses are very limited since we got family homes and what not.

Hit Barcelona a couple of weeks ago. Anyone into culture and decent weather would appreciate it.
Went for a Gaudi experience: Parc Guell, La Pedrera, and Casa Batllo
Then the gothic quarter and Poble Nou
Also caught a Barça match in Montjuic, and the MNAC next door to the stadium
The racism over there is a bit more sophisticated. They're like racists with class and manners. Imagine a polite trump.
Didn't hear any comments but caught a lot of side eye and looks
The city itself is beautiful, can't take 3 steps without bumping into some architectural masterpiece or historical marker
Randomly found some Roman columns in the gothic quarter. Where I also tripped out on some 1% bikers from Bandidos- Charleroi all patched up (IYKYK)

2 - For long haul flights, skip out on the airline food
just water or liq. IYKYK. You can fast for 12-17hrs. That, or eat before you get on the plane or once you land. At most, pack some blueberries
