And just like that, it's over :wow:

Back to DC tomorrow. All good things must come to an end.

This trip was needed. Coli, I promise pics and a review of both Jo'burg and Nairobi when I'm back and settled. It was a scene.

I've learned so much about myself on this trip it's ridiculous.

Networked pretty heavy as well :ehh:

I know you found you a nice kikuyu joint while you was over there or even Luo :banderas:

Coli,

Like promised. Pt. 1 of pics from my trip to Jozi. Got a few more to upload. The pics are bit out of sync in terms of chronology.

I got some "other" pics to post but the Coli got wolves so I'm good.

Also, for some reason imgur didn't get all my captions in the pics so not all pics have captions.

I'll probably load up 2 more batches from Jozi then one or two from Nairobi. After which I'll just drop a post on my observations from both trips (I kept a journal for my trip but I need to condense my thoughts).

Enjoy

I really enjoyed this bro. The city looked beautiful and the food looked great. What's the deal with the royal hotel tho? Did you already know people in South Africa or did you meet them there?

Jozi and Pretoria were great. Weather was amazing too. Mid 70's during the day with a light breeze and low humidity :wow:.

I knew only one dude in South Africa. We play ball together in DC on the weekends, but I actually didn't meet him until the end of my trip. Literally my last night in Jo'Burg. Everyone else I simply met on ground. I've traveled quite a bit by myself before (been traveling solo since 14 really, and I just turned 23) and for me it's usually very easy to meet people. Just give em a little story about why you're there and see if they're down to hang. I actually met too many people this trip and wasn't able to follow up with some of them. This was especially true with some ladies :francis:

As per the Royal Hotel, lol. That place is a "gentleman's club". That my lady friend in one of the videos took me there. The things I saw there :wow:. This is really when I knew there's something inside the water in South Africa. These South African women are really just built differently.

I still got Pt. 2 coming up with a recap of my trip. Then I got Nairobi as well.

Mad inspiring breh. I'm looking forward to start solo traveling myself and South Africa is high on my list. I was looking at your pics like :ohhh: damn breh really covered alot of ground. And that one video with the sista in the grey dress :wow:. Speechless. Can't wait to see it for myself. Looking forward to part 2.

I highly recommend South Africa (Johannesburg in particular). I haven't been to Cape Town but I heard it's beautiful, although a bit more touristy.

Honestly, traveling solo isn't hard at all if you put yourself out there. It's actually quite nice as you can go at your own pace and set your own agenda. Also, as solo person it's easier to tag along with a group if you want to and then bounce if need be. :ehh:

Yes, shawty in the grey dress was serious. Worse part was she wasn't anything unseen before. I met mad girls like her on a regular, especially in the apartment my AirBnb was located. If only your boy had 1 more week :wow:
Honestly SA women are on a different level. When my mother told me I didn't believe her. Then I saw it with my own two eyes :wow:

when in August is Paris less crowded ? beginning, middle or end?

Beginning to middle...but many restaurants and stores will be closed. It’s an unofficial holiday time for many people...they close for like 3-4 weeks

South Africa is definitely on my list as is Costa Rica and Peru to name a few (I want to visit Machu Picchu even though I don't like heights :mjcry:)

My mans just got back from there. So many pics of bad ass mixed joints. Almost had me catching yellow/mocha fever. Might have to make that jump soon. My brother is down in Mexico City then on to Medellin. Gotta y’all him into posting on here since he does film making and photography for a living

How Phuket? I was looking at Muay Thai camps in that area. Not sure when I’d go but was thinking about making plans. I guess I wouldn’t see too much of the city given the fact I’d be training but still curious as to how Phuket is in case I don’t decide to lodge at the camp and look for another location near bu
