Based on what?
Moses couldn't shoot, couldn't pass, didn't have any moves except "I'm gonna throw this up and then get my own rebound", and his defense was NOWHERE NEAR as good as Hakeem's. It's not a huge exaggeration to say that he made his entire career based off being a very strong 6'10", 260lb guy with a lot of hustle in an era when most of the bigs were either too skinny or unathletic stiffs.
A rich man's Tristan Thompson with a bit more muscle playing in a weak era.
The first day Hakeem stepped onto the court, he was already just as good as Moses on offense and greater than Moses ever was on defense.
When Hakeem started developing those post moves.
Moses gets way overrated just because of accolades picked up in the era. I used to think he might be top-10 back when I was a kid just checked off guy by career accomplishments. In reality, putting Hakeem and Moses in the same sentence is like saying that Dirk may or may not have surpassed Toni Kukoc.
