So if Kaep is signed does this boycott end? I'm just wondering what the end game is for this protest
Me personally, no, I'm boycotting them for this year as a message that I refuse to be a consumer for an organization that doesn't just not care about me, but acts against and action in my interest.

I'll evaluate after this season, but honestly, I see no reason for me personally to ever watch their product again, but that is me personally, not the boycott I'm trying to organize.

Yea I'm all for protests and principled stands, but there has to be an end goal and a call to action for thing or things you're protesting. 3 people protesting on The Coli isn't gonna change anything. There has to be more coordination and followed up with real action on the people boycotting to make a change/impact on what outcome they're looking for
Doesn't have to change a single thing about the NFL, its about showing our own displeasure with the NFL.
I can find different entertainment.
Like I said the the man earlier in this thread, if you don't want to participate fine, don't, but this need to try to claim it doesn't do anything or not enough people are doing it, is empty to me, its not about anyone else but the people who choose to participate and why we are doing so.

So you're protesting without trying to change the thing (the NFL) that you're against? No offense but what you're doing sounds like a complete waste of time

shyt just boring I was barely watching pre Kaepernick I just like keeping an eye on FSU boys. Being a Ravens fan hard enough as is being stuck with same crappy coaches and front office after 4 mediocre seasons in a row not difficult for me

Its only a waste of time if you think it is, in which case, no one is making you do anything.
That said if you disagree, just don't participate, the need that you and others seem to have in denigrating it and attacking it is a strange one though, speaks more of your mindset that I don't feel is appropriate in this thread.
That said its open for all who want to sign up and make the pledge that they won't support an organization that shows it doesn't support them or value your life.

Yes I do, and yes they have blackballed, Chris Jackson and Craig Hodges to name a few, while protecting a racist owner like Donald Sterling for years.
That said the players there have protested and not been punished by the league and that is more than I can say for the NFL.
That said if they show the same actions in the future as the NFL, in boycotting a star player for speaking up on police brutality, I'll boycott them as well, this is no ways to be taken as that the NFL is the only league with an ownership that is racist or the only ownership group that is "bad".
Its just a start, either support it or not.

Breh a protest implies some sort of action to make a change. You're not doing anything besides not watching. And stop saying anybody who disagrees with you is "denigrating" you. That's not the case. I just think it's lazy to "protest" the league by simply posting about it on the Coli

A protest simply is a group letting a body know they disagree.
On top of that, this is a boycott of the NFL and its product, either join or not.
What this boycott wants to do is in the first post.
If you disagree you disagree, fine, but again when you go out of your way to attack the very question of why a group of people would choose not to support a product of a company that has made it clear they don't value the lives of those who are boycotting, it is denigration and it is acting in support of the NFL and it literally makes no sense to me, if you are in fact a black american.

Nothing lazy about keeping your time and money to yourself and not granting it to a body that doesn't value your life.
As for just the Coli, that up to you, you can keep it on the board, or you can do like I have and try to talk others into doing in it offline.

Again the logical hurdles your type do, to try to attack something that isn't aimed at you and doesn't have to effect your life in the slightest is strange as hell to me.

Stopped at the bold. What body are you letting know? The Coli.com? As I said before, I support protest. I think you could make a difference because I agree with what you're protesting about. I'm challenging you to take it a step further. You're not changing what you're protesting against simply by not watching it

You aren't challenging me to take anything further, you are attacking what is simply a call for men to take a stand for what they as an individuals will not tolerate and boycott the NFL. If you wanted to do more you would have simply joined and offered a solution of what else could be implemented, but you haven't done so.

Again if you are against what we are doing in this thread, cool, some people place higher value on entertainment than others, but when you make it a point to attack what others are doing as not enough, when you offer nothing yourself except negativity, that tells more about where you stand than anything you could type trying to claim you want more.

If you are telling the truth though, I'll tell you the point of this protest isn't about getting white owners in the NFL to do shyt, its about mobilizing black americans to take action for our own benefit, we who partake are saying we find the NFL distasteful we won't support them and their business. To me if people could just do that, thats power and setting the ground work in a far more meaningful way than mobilizing to beg rich white owners to love us or appreciate us or appear to those things so we can feel good about giving them time and our money. Thats a losing proposition to me.

Truth to be told, most if not all of these sports leagues are dominated by white supremacy, so I can't knock anyone watching or not watching the NFL. With the following above in mind, hopefully the Big 3 takes off.

I dunno. Seems kind of hypocritical. Especially since the protest that just happened by Kaep will never happen in the NBA because there is currently a rule against it. Do you, but this seems like a "I like the NBA and hate the NFL" so I'm using this as my reason to get people to boycott.

I understand the NBA gives more control to players and guaranteed contracts and all that so it appears better for the black athlete, but the NBA has many many faults as well.

I recognize both as what they are, but I'm picking the NFL first.
If your solution is the NBA deserves it more, fine, start one for that, but I"m not going to ignore the NFL because I'm not doing one for the NBA as well. To be honest that seems more like a copout on not to do anything, IMHO.

I'm not boycotting either.
