A Dutch start-up is now producing upcycled table tops which fit perfectly on Amsterdam's 18th-century "Amsterdammertje" bollards.

With 38,000 bollards in the city, combined with quiet streets and its al fresco culture, they're perfect for enjoying a glass of wine with friends.

Swiss trains are awesome.

[Quoted tweet]

One of the best things in a country full of awesome things. I love the Swiss train system so much.

… but slow. There is nothing like the Paris-Marseille TGV. It takes three hours to go to Zurich and they seem to get slower as time passes.

@Andreas_Ramos
the new electric train in Silicon Valley (San Francisco to San Jose) is Swiss made.

Well not French trains. You’ll pay €15 to go 50km and not even have a seat because it’s too crowded. Then you’ll have an hour delay and not even get a refund.
