A Friday the 13th game could be really funAlso a new Friday the 13th movie and game
They also need to stop doing these prequels that attempt to humanize some of the best big screen movie slasher characters of all time like rob zombies Halloween remakes.
I don't want to know that Jason became a psychopath because he had a rapist for an uncle, that touched him inappropriately, leading him down the path of rage that he now travels. Miss me with these "necessary" historical elements to these horror movie classics
After much rumour and speculation, the producers of the upcoming ‘Friday The 13th’ reboot have confirmed the film will be an origin tale featuring Jason Vorhees and his family.
“We’re going to go back,” producer Brad Fuller told Yahoo Movies while promoting ‘TMNT 2′, “and we’re going to meet that family.”
“We’re going to meet the family,” concurred co-producer Andrew Form, “You’re gonna meet Pamela, Elias, and Jason. And you’re gonna see how it all happened.”
Jason Voorhees’ father Elias has been referenced in previous ‘Friday The 13th’ films, but he’s never been seen on screen. In a spin-off comic ‘Friday the 13th: Pamela’s Tale’, it was revealed that Jason’s mother Pamela Voorhees murdered Elias after years of abuse, but it’s not yet clear if this is the route the reboot will take with the family.
The ‘Friday The 13th’ reboot has been a long time coming with a found-footage style version being discussed at one point, an idea the producers thought “broke Jason”. They also considered making a direct sequel to Marcus Nispel’s 2009 reboot, but that went no further either.
This new version, due in January 2017, will feature an all-new script from Aaron Guzikowski, the writer of ‘Prisoners’, and a long time fan of the horror franchise with an Autumn shooting date in mind.
‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows’ is in cinemas now.
Friday The 13th Reboot To Feature Jason Voorhees’ Long Lost Father
This movie was really good. We talked about it a little bit a few pages back.
how fukking boring.Looks like they are doing the full origin bullshyt with the new Friday the 13th movie too:
Wow I was joking about Jason in my previous post, but they've apparently beat me to the punch with this ongoing shytty modern horror trope.Looks like they are doing the full origin bullshyt with the new Friday the 13th movie too:
these types of horror characters aren't scary anymore, it seems today they want to go the route of the exorcist type of flicks, with movies coming out like the conjuring 2
the last one was lit because it was a punisher movie in disguise, this one again looks like good times
