I was shocked by how good and creepy
this damn movie was.

I wanted to like this movie more but it just didn't work for me.
Most memorable thing about it was one of the writers/directors coming for me on Twitter because he didn't like my review.

Watched these movies not too long ago:

GRAVY

It's All Hallow's Eve. A trio of costumed misfits with very special dietary requirements seizes a Mexican cantina and force the staff to engage in a late night of gaming, food and libations. The only caveat is what's on the menu.

Its not straight horror; more of a comedy-horror flick. Its written adn directed by the dude who was the star of the USA series PSYCH.

THE VEIL

Twenty-five years after members of a religious cult committed mass suicide, the lone survivor returns to the scene of the tragedy with a documentary crew in tow.

It had some creepy moments and Thomas Jane was really good in it.


I haven't watched this one yet, plan on watching it this weekend:

Thanks for connecting those dots. I've been meaning to check out You're Next for awhile and just watched both. Breh Adam Wingard has VISION. Both movies were highly entertaining but I just finished The Guest last night. That final scene in the gym is fukking beautiful if you're a horror/thriller buff. This guy gets it and I'm now not surprised seeing what people are saying about The Woods.

tried Behind The Mask but couldnt finish it

its a mockumentary of a serial killer as he sets up his crimes

seems more like a parody, could probably finish it one day but I was in the mood for more horror less comedy
