Has anyone seen the movie I See You with Helen Hunt? Movie completely took me by surprise. I went in not knowing a thing and it managed to keep me on my toes the whole way through. I thought it was really good. I don't want to say much about it because I feel like the less you know, the better. If yall haven't peeped it, I definitely recommend.

Is this the movie where Helen Hunt is blind?
There's a movie where she plays a blind person being stalked by a killer.

Nah, that sounds interesting though (like Hush but with a blind person instead of a deaf one). In this one, Helen Hunt's husband and son just found out she was having an affair. The husband is a detective investigating a rash of disappearances in their town. The son is rebelling some as a result of the family dynamic breaking down. But on top of that, some weird things keep happening around the house; missing stuff, electronics turning on at random...ish like that. I feel like anything else I add would take away from the way this story is told. It's like pulling a thread. So I'll leave it there. But I really loved the way they put this story together and made it unfold for viewers. It's a mix of thriller, horror and mystery with a family drama driving the events...I dug it.

I just saw this movie Rotwood or something like that. Was okay up until the end. They really ruined it.

@Nicole0416
You see Black Christmas yet??
:smh:No, not yet. Something came up on the day that I was supposed to go the last time that I mentioned it, like 2 weeks ago. I'm waiting for it to come out on streaming or a good download to watch bc I know I won't make it to a theater.

Need more cosmic horror.

That Lovecraft podcast that was shared like 20 pages back, I just listened to it finally and they were describing Del Toro's dream project At the Mouth of Madness and why it keeps falling through...I literally was listening to the descriptions thinking "If I hit the lotto, I'd fund that damned movie and let him do whatever the hell he wanted" ...not true, just a spur of the moment hot take but still. Cosmic horror needs more standouts.
