There’s no need for him to be so extra or resort to insults. As much as all of us have been on here in this thread and discussed for the past - (differing opinions, perspectives, viewpoints) what -2 yrs now; we’ve always had boundaries. Even the “beefs” are never negative. There’s still a mutual respect. Dude is negative, period and he didn’t need to insult y’all- I’m not standing for that. That’s not right. Not at all. That was unwarranted. Leave his mood where he needs to leave it. I understand what you’re saying but he crosses lines. This is not the first time and I’ve been letting it slide.
Lmao wtf I don’t think it’s quite that serious, he fukks with me too why can’t I jab back

Interesting Exorcist background:
Unearthed Article from 1974 Recounts the Total Madness of Experiencing ‘The Exorcist’ in Theaters

Unearthed by a reddituser, a writer for The New York Timesrecounted the nightmarish release that resulted in massive lines, filthy theaters, and the unthinkable stench of stale vomit in the air. It was such an event that people braved freezing cold weather or paid bribes to jump ahead in line.

“people stood like sheep in the rain, cold and sleet for up to four hours to see the chilling film about a 12‐year‐old girl going to the devil,” wrote Judy Klemesrud, on Jan. 27, 1974, looking back at The Exorcist‘s extraordinary run in theaters. “They lighted bonfires at their waiting post on Second Avenue, between 59th and 60th Streets, to keep warm, littered the streets with food wrappings, got into fist fights.”

I don’t really think I was rude to marty? I responded to the guy who asked a douchey rhetorical question, with Marty I was just sharing my thoughts. I was in an awful mood I’ll admit.

And what, I can’t jab daredevil back a little? :pachaha:We’re all men here
You didn’t @ me doe

but forreal. Is it only certain types of horror you like? Seems like every time a movie comes out that’s liked by a lot of horror fans, you just call it irredeemable trash. Or are you a horror hipster that thinks he can’t like a movie that a lot of others like?

I like movies that do something new or make me feel something, and I praise probably half or more than half of the movies I watch in here. I grew up loving horror and just movies with weird shyt so it may be a yearning for days where things were (or felt) more surreal and unsettling, or exciting when a movie is supposed to be tense... I think that a lot of horror is lazy these days, but there are also a lot of talented young people making their bones in it

Ready or Not sucked, hoy!

Wasn’t feelin it, humor was cringey and it had a terrible sense of building tension. I went in expecting something dope..

“Do you like horror” yeah no I’m not a horror fan cause I don’t like stupid mediocre shyt. As if that movie even came close to being tense or scary

At least it was better than that fukkin embarrassment Doctor Sleep

No we're not all men here, wtf, I'm a female. It's a majority male forum and subject but I can voice my commentary just the same - that doesn't matter to me. The fact is you stay on the negative. Doesn't matter bc I plan on ignoring you - not like there's much input that you bring to the topic other than demeaning people off their opinions based on feedback. There's a way to do that without being vile, but since you lack the ability to master your own horror, I expect nothing less.

Soooo this is horror-adjacent: Scot Derickson left the Doc Strange sequel. "Creative differences"
I really hope that its not because Marvel is against the idea of making a Dr. Strange movie that is horror because the horror angle is the only thing that had me interested in the sequel.

I don't think that's it. They made a big deal about it and Feige was JUST talking about it and didn't shy away from it.
