Ladies and gents, pour one out for Channel Zero. Creator took to IG and announced syfy gave it the axe. There were rumors they were going to cut it because the ratings weren’t strong at all but there was a little hope it would make it. But nah, not happening. At least not on syfy
everytime I get into a series, it gets cancelled. They did the same with exorcist.

Watching the Pilot for a supposedly horror/thriller show on Fox, called The Passage . Looks likes some type of vampire -zombie apocalypse series:

Didn’t know Ridley was attached to this. Still watching it but Ridley has directed and produced some waaaaaaaaack shyt these past few years. Alien covenant being at the top of that list
Yeah..that was trash. This one so far is a sloooowww burn. 34 mins in and it's more of a mystery drama so far, but an unexpected turn and build up during the last 6 mins of this episode. Not bad tho...I'm reserving judgement until after I watch a few more eps.That’s sitting on my dvr right now. Going to peep it this weekend.

all in one. I dig the early concept, curious to see how they flesh it out.
I usually give pilot episodes some leverage, to me it's just "ok" . A write up said that it was comparable to The Walking Dead but I'm not seeing it. If anything, it reminds of The Strain initially. This has the usual clichés - government cover up, patient zero, main characters haunted by their past, secret underground "treatment center" . what sets it apart is the storyline revolves around a 10yr old girl as patient zero and I like the fact that the main characters are diverse (the little girl, doctor, and the test subject are all black)
They cancelled ZNation too. Did yall watch that?
Damn they’re cutting heads. I never watched it but I was glad Kellita Smith was working and was the lead of that show. Rare to see a black woman lead a horror show
