Please ....Just...... no.....
to all of these

Oh God...I'd even give a side-eye to trying to DUB Audition...an American Remake sounds like a failure waiting to happen. Though, it is kinda cool that Kevin Bacon tried to get a version made at one point.

The ONE movie off that list, which I'd have some optimism for is Cujo if they really got Darren Aronofsky attached to it. It's a weird combination, but I'd be genuinely interested to see how he reinterprets it.

Well...this one's disappointing...

Lemme preface this with, the two elite actors are doing their thing. It's just that the horror of this movie is very...mundane. It's basically Dennis the Menace of the Nursing home getting increasingly unhinged. But most of what the "psycho" does is annoying rather than scary. It drags; nobody's likeable; and the whole thing is relying on John Lithgow's performance to elevate the otherwise "kinda lame" situation.

I see a lot of people showing love to it. So, maybe I'm tripping, but I couldn't get through it.

Popeye went public domain THIS YEAR. Those mofos had these waiting! I just looked at next year's batch, and I think it's slim. Betty Boop, Nancy Drew, and Pluto (Mickey's dog) are the most recognizable to me. Someone, somewhere is finding a way to write one of those characters into a horror.

Cujo or man's best friend plot with Pluto as the killer dog :ehh:
I remember that dog had acid piss in the movie and pissed on dude's face(yellow eyes from supernatural). Pumpkin head's dad was the doctor that was doing the experiments.

I've never seen Man's Best Friend, but I'm definitely watching it. If they did Pluto with kills like that, I might actually support it :pachaha:

Absolutely stacked! I've always thought a Batman horror movie from the viewpoint of criminals he's after could work using a bunch of slasher conventions :mjlol:....not always, but after Brightburn which is a long time.

Imma make a New York Ripper remake and at the end of the movie

you're gonna see Peter turn into Donald Duck American Werewolf in London/The Howling style.

Going with the theory i had when I watched it that his daughter got some kinda powers that possess her father as a killer duck to kill women cause she knows she's gonna die young.

:wow:

Super late pass: I finally watched Speak No Evil, and James McAvoy carried the hell out of it. There's some great tension after the midway point, like the ladder scene. But it's mostly just McAvoy killing it and everyone else reacting.
