DEATH HOUSE
SYNOPSIS:
Two federal agents fight their way through nine levels of Hell inside a secret prison known as the Death House. A facility-wide prison break turns their flight into a tour of horrors as they push toward the ultimate evil housed in the lowest depths of the earth.
Death House, written by Harrison Smith (director of CAMP DREAD) and the late Gunnar Hansen (the original Leatherface from TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE), stars a long list of horror legends including Kane Hodder (FRIDAY THE 13th), Barbara Crampton (THE RE-ANIMATOR), Dee Wallace (CUJO), Tony Todd ((CANDYMAN), Bill Moseley (REPO, THE GENETIC OPERA), Adrienne Barbeau (THE FOG), Michael Berryman (THE HILLS HAVE EYES), Felissa Rose (SLEEPAWAY CAMP) and Sid Haig (HOUSE OF 1,000 CORPSES).
It was announced that Death House will be getting a theatrical release on January 26, 2018, in Regal Cinemas across the US.
Looking forward to this.
The Endless opens with a quote from cult horror author H.P. Lovecraft, whose dread-filled mythos of ancient alien gods and terrifying occult knowledge is a key influence on Benson and Moorhead’s work. But the tone here is more classic low-budget indie drama, restrained and cerebral, than nightmarish horror. Initially, at least.
