This is one dark damn creepy movie

:picard:

If Bloody Mary was an actual person in the backwoods and started abducting people with a twist of Midsommar meets the Blair Witch 🧙

And as usual - the police are useless 🙄

1. Don’t wait for backup - going to investigate by yourself, a serial killer is perfectly fine to do

2. Apparently it is totally normal for parents to let their 2 children go walking through the woods at night despite a known ritualistic murderer being released.

3. Despite having a gun, a 250 lb 6ft 5 police officer gets unalived by a 70 year old 4ft dwarf sized witch with a butter knife.

Despite this - the movie is quite intriguing though.

There was a Blade tv series?? When did this happen and why?
:wtf:

Blade with no Wesley Snipes??!!
Stickey Fingas wtf??!!
:dahell::what::mjlol:

That’s also the dude from Strapped?? 😭

I actually liked the show back when it aired. I'm sure it's pretty dated now, though. But IMO it wasn't as bad as people would imagine.

Am I crazy or was there a trailer for a movie that did one of those lets turn an old R&B song into something scary with Joe's Stutter? You know the thing that got copied to death after the trailer to Us.

I think they only played the part that goes

"My dear-my dear-my dear you do not know me
But I know you very well
Now let me tell you that I c-c-c-c-caught you"

Hot take: I think the Saw franchise is the most disappointing to come out in the past 25 years. The first movie had a ton of potential, the second was decent, and everything after fell somewhere between bad and complete trash.

I don't think bringing back Tobin Bell will save it.

Saw will always be a guilty pleasure watch of mine because of the traps, but my hype tends to subside whenever I find out Wan and Whannell aren’t involved. I also keep hearing about Lionsgate meddling with creative and how it often leads to a tampered mess of a film in the end. Looking at you, Spiral.

And if there’s any project from the past I want to see Wan and Whannell come back to, it’s Dead Silence. I know they hate it, and I don’t care. Out of all the films Wan has directed, this was the one to get under my skin the most…which is wild considering how campy it gets.
