Make sense as i was disgusted at the crappy effects.Studio came in and added all the cgi. Idk why idk how the director felt about it but they basically took it from him in post
A shame..

Creep as in the underground subway flick? This one was on Netflix and I'd definitely put it in the psychological category. Creep has a few jump scares and is on Netflix too; the beginning is weird as hell but it gets intense and no gore (plus it's short).
Where was it set? It's very similar to this movie but I didn't get that eureka moment from watching it. The cast was larger and younger from my recollection, but the theme is almost identical. The color in the picture seemed more vibrant if I recall.
For all I know this could be the movie but the details are scarce. The 70s may just be the era to look in as ghastly big homes was the subject matter for scary movies back then.

Watched the thing for what seems like the 1000th time. God I love that film. It's a perfect horror film.
Decided to watch the thing 2011 again since I had only seen it once.
God. The CGI is so bad. It's just night and day.
Practical effects on a 15 million budget from a film thats over 30 years old holds up better than a film with a 40 million budget that's only 6 years old.
The film itself is fine but it's completely and utterly ruined by the use of CGI. If only they had used practical effects.
I don't even want to tell you this because it's going to upset you but they actually did use practical effects for basically every effects shot in the movie....then for some inexplicable reason the studio removed/replaced virtually all of them in post-production.
Fred.
As someone that puts the entire Evil Dead trilogy on the highest pedestal for horror and horror/comedy, the remake is not bad at all. It certainly could've been much worse imoJust watched the original evil dead movie yesterday, classic
Ive never seen the remake tho, is it worth it ?

Creep as in the underground subway flick?
Sounds a bit interesting but i made a vow never to peep any found footage flicks again.Nah it's with the dude from the League; he pays someone to film him for a day because he's dying and wants to leave the video behind for his kid and things get weird.
