They forgot Kelly Joy Minter (survived 3:fire: Horror flicks) & Brandy:whoo::lupe:

Aside from Rocky (who I picked because she is awesome), I went with only characters who were the heroes of their movies which left off a lot of survivors who were friends, second bananas(:mjpls:) or just supporting side characters in their movies.

In the dead of winter, a group of students set out on a trek into the Ural Mountains. Their frozen bodies - with inexplicable injuries - were discovered in locations that compounded the puzzle of how they died.

The Dyatlov Pass mystery spawned dozens of conspiracy theories, which have endured for 60 years. Lucy Ash traces the group's journey and tells their story through their diaries,

At the height of the Cold War, in the dead of winter, the group of 10 students led by Igor Dyatlov set out on a trip into the Ural Mountains – the range which divides Europe and Asia.

The skiers were all experienced, young sportsmen and women from the Urals Polytechnic Institute in Yekaterinburg, or Sverdlovsk as the city was called in Soviet times, but only one of them would survive.

Nine bodies were eventually found on a remote mountain with horrific, inexplicable injuries. Some were semi-clothed, two had missing eyes, and one’s tongue was missing.

The Dyatlov Pass mystery, as it’s become known, has spawned countless conspiracy theories over the past six decades.
33 Of The Eerie Photos Left Behind By The Dyatlov Pass Incident
Watched Devil's Pass this morning and it was OK but I actually was more entertained reading about the real Dyatlov Pass Incident than I was by this movie.

Even when it first came out I though those Langoliers monsters looked like crap.
Now all I think about when I see them is the Testicle headed time cops from Rick & Morty. :russ:

Epix's Amityville Horror Documentary to Detail the True Story That Inspired the Films

Epix's Amityville Horror Documentary to Detail the True Story That Inspired the Films
BY ZACHARY POGUEPUBLISHED 1 DAY AGO
Epix is set to air a documentary about the real life house that inspired the Amityville Horror films.
An upcoming documentary, titled The Making of a Haunting: The Amityville Murders, is set to broadcast on Epix. Per Variety, the documentary will explore the real-life story of the house that the Amityville Horror movies were based on.

For those who are unaware, the Amityville Horror franchise was inspired by the terror the Lutz family faced after moving into a house where the previous owner Ronald DeFeo Jr.murdered his family. The movies themselves were based on Jay Anson's novel, which shares its title with the first film. The Amityville Horror book was originally released in 1977. Multiple sequels to the novel came out in subsequent years.

The Lutzes reportedly experienced strange phenomena that might have been supernatural. Like the family, some people believe the ghosts of the victims of the previous owner continued to haunt the home long after their deaths. The family was so disturbed by what they saw, that they left the residence after only 28 days. Before they left, they contacted the Warrens, the paranormal investigators whose cases inspired The Conjuringseries.

The Four-Part Docuseries Will Explore the Events That Made the House an Icon of Horror
American International Films
The Making of a Haunting: The Amityville Murders is the latest addition to Epix's high-quality productions. The channel may not have as much content as its competitors, but it makes up for that with acclaimed shows. One of the highlights is the series Pennyworth, which explores the life of Batman's loyal butler before the latter started working for the Wayne family. The documentary revolving around Amityville hopes to continue the high bar set by other programs. The series will offer a more realistic look at the house than the many films and books it inspired.

A release date for The Making of a Haunting: The Amityville Murders has not yet been announced.
