Okay I've been reading a few horror and movie sites on this carpenter/zombie news and quite a few of them do like his Halloween 2. Which I disliked so much. Does anyone here have a soft spot for it tho?

I don't even remember either of zombies Halloween films. I know I've seen them. But I can't recall a single scene
I liked The Devil's Rejects but everything else of his has been ass. Halloween 2 was bad filmmaking from start to finish.
That white trash, rockabilly aesthetic grew old years ago.

Terrible movie strayed to far away from what he'd done in the first one in order to give that rob zombie appeal and wound up f###in up the whole movie. As far as his other stuff same concept same characters and generally same results trashy movie. Excluding the first Halloween.
I appreciate that he did his own thing for the sequel. I just didn't like his thing that he did

my first and only time watching H2 was a mistake..went right after the festival director's cut of enter the void..i was beaten up from Void and then H2 just gave me pure misery and fukked me up man..lol
I think the fact that I like The Devil's Rejects is why I continue to give his movies a shot.

I don't think 1 is terrible as much as it's just flat. 2 is terrible tho
