any 43x owners here? I'm thinkin bout coppin for my conceal

I got the full set, 43, 43X, and the 48. not a big fan of the 43. Very accurate with the 48 and 43x, grip makes all the difference. I would never go any smaller than that now, knowing what i know now. In fact i don't need to go bigger either. I use the 43x for my ccw. and the 48 with an extended mag for home defense. The mos seems like its specifically designed to fit the shield red dot. fits flush no plates or anything required. and low enough that you can still cowitness with factory sights

The shield arms mags, are already outdated if you looking for more capacity. I would recommend instead going with the
PSA mag, those are capatible with the 43x. hold 15 rounds, and don't require that you upgrade to a steel mag catch, which means you can still use your factory mags.

I haven't seen anyone mention the PSA mag in the reviews I been looking at. It's fully compatible?

the mos system is... ok but the oem plates are basura en fuego

milling's always superior - getting the work done on a normal 43's still gonna run you less than tall sights and an fcd/chpws/whatever plate

also 10 rounds is pretty outdated unless you get the shield arms mags (need a steel mag catch to run those too)

overall my suggestion's to cop whatever psa dagger is the 43x clone and comes with their 15 round mags

edit: it's 450 for the 407k combo, not bad :ehh:

You have any breakdown vids? I wanna see it in action

:ehh: ok, I'll look into it. How do you carry your 43x? I seen a really thin holster that didn't add any bulk at all but i be seeing people with just the trigger guard too

If it adds bulk I don't want it
i just use the trigger guard hoster clip.

:martin: Didnt realize CA has 1 handgun a month limit. Tried to pick up a Glock 19 and was told i need to wait a few days as i already purchased a firearm in the month of June.
Same here in NJ. Though the store I went to said there’s a tiny loophole. I’ll have to go back to ask what it is because I wasn’t really paying attention, and was focusing on the specs he had told me about the gun.

For NJ it’s one pistol/handgun per month. A permit is needed for each one. That’s not the case for rifles and shotguns.

A permit? :mindblown:

These coli dudes be hating on red states (and rightfully so) but one things these crazy cacs be doing right is making sales easy. :wow:

Does the permit allow you to carry.
No but NJ has really eased up on concealed carry and it's fairly easy. Everyone I know who has wanted to cc passed easily. It's also a two year license. No open carry though. I'm sure the gun ranges are happy with the money they're making from the CCW courses:russ:

These are the requirements:
The training requirements are explained in N.J.A.C. 13:54-2.4(B) and 2C:58-4. These statutes require that a person wishing to meet the requirements of concealed carry attend and receive training and pass a qualification course of fire. The process consists of:

1.) A demonstration of safe handling and use of handguns (proficiency) as per N.J.S.A. 2C:58-4

2.) Submission of the applicant’s most recent handgun qualification scores utilizing the handgun(s) he or she intends to carry as evidenced by test firings administered by a certified firearms instructor of a police academy, a certified firearms instructor of the National Rifle Association, or any other recognized certified firearms instructor

3.) Use of Deadly Force Training.

The Tactical Training Center offers a training program designed to meet and exceed the training requirements for the concealed carry application. Our instructors have experience and certifications far exceeding those at other ranges.

The new modifications to NJ 2C:58-4 are…

Training requirement:

(1) On or prior to the first day of the seventh month following the enactment of P.L.2022, c.131 (C.2C:58-4.2 et al.), the superintendent shall establish training requirements in the lawful and safe handling and storage of firearms, which shall consist of an online course of instruction, in-person classroom instruction, and targeted training administered by a certified firearm instructor on a firing range approved by the superintendent and on the list of approved ranges published on the State Police website. The training shall include, but not be limited to, demonstration of a level of proficiency in the use of a handgun in such manner as required by the superintendent and training, developed or approved in conjunction with the Police Training Commission, on justification in the use of deadly force under State law.

(2) A person who obtained a permit pursuant to this section prior to the first day of the seventh month following the date of enactment of P.L.2022, c.131 (C.2C:58-4.2 et al.) and which permit is not scheduled to expire until at least one year following the enactment of P.L.2022, c.131 (C.2C:58-4.2 et al.) shall comply with the training requirement established pursuant to this subsection no later than the first day of the tenth month following the date of enactment of P.L.2022, c.131 (C.2C:58-4.2 et al.).

Yup. So when I'm ready for my 1911 or Sig P226 X5, I'll have to choose which one I want first. And in general, the process is super easy now. When I got my Glock in April I damn near left the store because I had to wait 90 minutes for someone to just say hi. That's how busy they were with new sales.
