You don't have to wait for the gun, but i would wait until you can afford the permit fee. Things have changed recently in Ohio and i don't know how it works in Chicago, but when i got my permit, we had a limited window of time between taking the class and getting our permit. If you took too long getting your permit you would have to take class again.Am I better off waiting until I can afford the CC permit fee and a gun itself before I take those required classes?
A company on Chicago’s west side are offering free classes for November and December (you pay a small fee for the range portion) but realistically I’m not getting the aforementioned things until next year
i looked up the laws in ur area and the training certificate's valid for 5 years (430 ilcs 66 sec 75) same as the permit itself so i'd go for itAm I better off waiting until I can afford the CC permit fee and a gun itself before I take those required classes?

I recently purchased a AR15 Pistol 223/556 Custom built from a Shop in Louisiana. Shoots beautiful. If I could have only one gun for the end of the world, it would be a AR Pistol or some sort of SBR. So versatile, you can hunt with it, shoot out of a car, maneuver in tight spaces. I'm now up to 5 guns. Between me and my 4 bothers and dad. We have about 20 firearms.
I have two 9mms
Shotgun, 2 ARs
I really want to 1911 or some big handgun.
"but but but gun culture and 2A support is CAC shyt..."
he's actually lucky they didnt give him the full 10 years that they usually give for machine guns
ironically, if he didnt have that switch, he probably could have actually hit the dude that shot himYeah considering. It sucks because he didn't start the incident but that damn switch.
