He showed some YAC ability this game, but as the game wore on and the hits added up I'm not sure he got more than 2 yards after the catch in the 2nd half.On plays that would have gone for 1st downs.

Travis is probably the fastest player on defense and he couldnt track down guys when he winded.

I appreciate what he's trying to do, but WR/CB are some of these most valuable positions in football. You're not going to play both sides consistently on the pro level and like you said is it even worth trying when your performance is brought down on both sides. If you give me a choice of a B Grade WR and DB vs an A Grade of just either, I'm taking the A everyday

As I said in the other thread its just hard to do that in this day and age of high tempo football.

Champ Bailey did it in the late 90s when Quincy Carter is only throwing the ball 25 times.

And @smitty22 will tell you Chris Gamble on the OSU teams might as well been playing leather helmet football.

Just a different game.

Deion the goat motivator had y’all believing :wow: Now dudes in here sulking.

They were perfectly built for something like this to happen
Honestly though if they beat Stanford, even if it was an ugly win, the narrative would be completely different. That was really the last team they were "supposed" to beat this season so no one could talk any trash even if they lost the rest of their games. Season would be a success and people would be watching to see if they can pull off 1 upset so they could make a bowl game. The hype train would have kept rolling and gave them something to rally behind for next year. That would help with recruiting too.

Now they are back at square one. Needing to figure out who they are as a team. They need some big changes in coaching and the culture.

What I don't understand is they started out with McCaskill as the lead back and in there for pass protect, but then went away from it and to Edwards in the 2nd half. Lewis took this OC job because he thought it would position himself better for a power conference HC job but if this shyt keeps up his stock is gonna drop lower.

Remember when Coach Prime said he saw a rat in his office? I wonder was he talking about the animal, a human, or both.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
And why are Colorado fans complaining about McClain not playing :snoop:

Most of the players came to Colorado because they wasn’t getting playing time at their previous schools. If you were a freshman, going to Colorado was the best chance of starting at a power 5 school right away. So if McClain isn’t prepared to be a starter, that’s his fault.
