Question though, Deion said he needed to look out for his coaches so he'd look at power 5 options but damn is he brining any of them?
Confirmed
Hart LB coach that has been with him since Trinity I believe
Brewster is the TE coach
Vincent Dancy MS Valley's HC will be the safety coach
Hagan is lone CU holdover to coach RBs

rumor but not reported anywhere
DT will be an analyst
Zimmer analyst
Mathis as corners coach

I suspect if TC doesn't get the HC position that he will get brought in.

Most of Those teams are only good about once every 3-4 years. That's when those 3 stars develop into better players.

He's going to be expected to compete yr after yr
Yeah, those teams be dominated by Seniors.

Here's the thing that's going to hamper him. Shedeur. He really thinks his son is on that level. May be the one blindspot he has.

I need to watch some film on him before I comment.

Edit:

Alright, I watched about 20 mins of his highlights

-Accurate arm, which is a big plus. He made some tight throws.
-Footwork not consistent when releasing ball. Floating the ball at times is not good on a D1 level
-Looks somewhat mobile on that level, but I don't know if that speed will be AS effective on a d1 level.
-Looks like he can make reads, but doesn't do it often
-Did notice a hesitation in his release at times, which will make you "late" on a D1 level. He just needs to let it fly.

Is he the quick twitch, athletic freak his father is? Nope, but he doesn't need to be that, and I'm sure they're all aware of that. I don't think it's wise to label him a dual threat qb. But he's black, soooo... Lol

But he can be more than effective just being who he already is and working towards. I think he's fine, but he will have to adjust to a field full of D1 competition.

He's probably better than whoever CUs current qb is. Which I'm about to pull up some of theor their 2022 film.

Sometimes he looks like college Jameis or college Geno. Just worry about his long release and being heavy footed might catch up to him without the talent disparity. Important Prime gets him a solid Oline.

I just edited my post. Let me know what you think.

I think closer to Jameis than Geno. Geno in college could make every throw and was slangin that thang anywhere on the field without hesitantation

the OL coach is supposed to be pretty good so it will come down to talent.

That probably only hurts you for a year tho. And it’s not like they’re trying to go undefeated with a championship this year. So if Shedeur isn’t good enough, and you have a team full of 4 and 5 stars everywhere else with Prime’s recruiting, they’d be in a good position to get the next great QB from the portal next year.

I been wondering about that, hard to know his quality playing in the SWAC. But if he ain't it and Prime keeps him at QB1 how the team react? I'm interested to see if he goes for a 4/5 Star QB

At the SWAC level though, Jameis or Geno might have looked like Jesus in cleats playing with that comp

my sources tell me that kent St's starting QB from last year is in the portal.

I bet Coach Prime picks him up so that way they have a QB that already knows the system just in case.

Kent St offense is really good. We played them this year. Their OC is a great pick-up, and their best wr portaled out too i think
