So would better creativity with that running game. Felt like every run this year was the same generic inside zone....they had too much speed not to use their advantages east to west...no presnap movement either....gotta hope that changes next year....there's a running QB coming in like I said before. I hope they actually utilize his legs
I favor consistency over creativity. that being said I think improvement in OL has a bit to do with it as well.

I do not see Shaduer or Travis as “guaranteed 1st round picks”

Again, if Deion was not attached to these guys names, would we be speaking of them so highly?
This dumb son of a bytch is back at it again :mjlol: :mjlol: :mjlol:

His "NFL coaching friends" must have gave him some harsh realities about what's going to happen in April and his little pea brain is struggling to comprehend it LMAO

I partially disagree with you. shedeur put up pretty great numbers at JSU with a solid running game. I think the issue is that Prime seems to be a why do something we aren't good at type of person. the problem with that IMO is that it doesn't help you get better and it doesn't take into consideration the rhythm factor.

I’m speaking solely to the CU era. You can’t make a run at the heisman at JSU.

I’m basing this off Prime’s own press conferences. I watch all of them. He only cares about having a run game to an extent. He’s okay with seventy percent pass/ thirty percent run. He prefers the ball in Shedeur’s hands. He’ll even say we don’t gotta be balanced, just gotta run enough to keep the defense honest. That’s cool, but that one dimensional approach has a ceiling, and I’m sure Prime is aware.

”What!? With a quarterback like this! Shoot I want the ball in his hands.” :russ:

That’s what Prime’s been on the last couple of years.

this topic makes this next season so fascinating. any issues with the offense will more clearly fall on Shurmur since the shedeur element wont be there anymore

I agree. I‘m really going to be looking at Shurmur next year.

I think the Arizona game is a glimpse of what it could look like. I believe CU ran it over thirty times in that game. There was real commitment to the run.

Just gotta continue developing the trenches, make a commitment to the run, and get more creative. The priority was the pass game, therefore I don’t think they really cared about a creative run game, but would love to see it next year.
