Yeah its surprising. Maybe he got the impression it was gonna be all edwards and he was just gonna be a backup, instead of the thunder & lightning stuff everybody been talking about

My guess is there’s no trust, and he did what he had to do.

He was smart to make sure last season was a redshirt season.

In this transfer portal era, players need to be smart about their eligibility.

Cormani appeared in six games last year. It was a complete waste of eligibility. It would have been in his best interest to shut it down after four games.

Eh its kinda different imo. Cormani was a 5 star and a big name. Not too long ago freshmen didn't really play much anywhere, but if you were a 5 star and had good sophomore and junior years, thats all you needed. Top recruits at bama or georgia still dont always play right away, and its not held agains them. Its kinda expected.

But Alton is further into his career and if he's going to make a name for himself, he doesn't have alot of time left. Thats a guy fighting to be able to make football his career, and he doesnt have a single season to waste.

it seems like his dad was giving ultimatums wanting a guaranteed RB1 spot, and of course, using the auto excuse of "favoritism"

that freshman that came in Micah Welch might have took some of his reps too. He been balling but losing Alton is wild. That’s probably why prime was saying he was looking for a rb. They were in contact with that Ohio state transfer. Man, I wanted to see Alto was going to have his break out season with the Buffs.

while I'm sure he will get picked up by a decent school, I'm not sure if any major programs will give him what it seems he's looking for in terms of a guaranteed starting job/carries

Yeah, he tried to distance himself from his pops. They were going back and forth on twitter.

So far, Alto and JMJ the only ones I didn’t want leaving. There’s some transfers headed for a visit this weekend. LB and DL.Imm not sure if another position headed there.

IMO we need at least one for every position group other than WR

Basically…. Then that interview where Micah basically said him and Edwards was taking over lol. That young fella came to play, and I respect it

it probably didnt hurt that he ran Shilo over :russ:

that freshman doesnt back down. I think he has the respect of players like Shilo, and maybe that's what was making Alto nervous even more than anything coaches may have said.
