A lot of the freshman were under developed. I notice how fragile some of those players looked in the spring game. Prime wasn’t lying when he said he just needed bodies.
And he lied to them when he said they were good enough to compete for anything. But he had to boost morale.
What Shedeur was able to do with that roster is nothing short of amazing.
I haven’t heard any rave reviews on their time in Kentucky. The OLB brother Keaton was a 4 star coming out of HS and has some pretty good measurable’s 6’4” 250. But I don’t know about any real production.
The QB brother looks to be just pure trash tho.

I think a lot of people are going to take a wait and see approach this year. No big moon kick off shows off the rip. Maybe the Nebraska game.
There should be no reason they don’t at least go to a bowl game next year. I think they’re going to try and get to the playoffs, which is realistic. But only if they win the big 12.

Don't agree with the first part, early season when there will be casual curiosity about what Year 2 looks like will be the best time to put them on national TV. Plus Shedeur and Travis will have preseason Heisman hype and of course Deion's fame will still mean numbers.

Their schedule is significantly weaker than last year.
Week 1, FCS school
Week 2, at Nebraska. Maybe they cover that game.
The rest of the season will depend on how good their opponent is, and how well they’ve improved.
Their non conference schedule is trash btw. There aren’t many consistent contenders in the big 12. Which should enable them to dominate.
They have to win every fame to make the playoffs. They may be able to squeak in with one loss (Because Prime the coach), depends to who and how. That how has to be a field goal or something.

If they win their conference, they’re getting in. With 12 teams, they’re not going to leave out conference champions. Not from the Big 12.
But style points will definitely matter. They can’t struggle against bad teams.

Looking at the top players in the portal.......... there's still a lot of meat on the bone.
If you're going to use the portal over recruiting, you have to land the top dogs. Prime hasn't done that yet. There's still a lot of top talent left.

I agree with everything you said about Jimmy.
The main thing Jimmy has going for him, is that he’s a good practice player, so he will have opportunities. However, he seems to fold under the spotlight.
He’s just very soft, passive, and has no ruggedness in his game. He needs to get that dog in him for real.
I would like to see Mathis get some time next year. You can tell that kid is a trained receiver. Everything is so crisp.
