Prime as a new coach wasn’t interested in getting emotionally attached to kids that he was not sure going to be on the team.

Im watching the 247 portal show and I cringed after Carl Reed mentioned lost recruits and Prime said "Its not like its Shedeur or Travis, then I'd be concerned"

I mean I get it, but its such a short term mindset. And when discussing freshman, while true they are better if they come in the spring, he seemed sketchy about freshman having an impact wiithout it.

Yeah, I knew that a while back. I posted in this thread that i saw a video but i didn’t want expound too much. I know too many trolls would come spamming. But, Seaton was throwing shots and wasn’t pleased.

The way these coaches( including Saban and Kirby) recruit, is insanely time consuming. I'm starting to wonder if Prime has it in him to do that.

First he said “people claim Colorado brings the stars out but to me Tennessee really brought the stars out” during his Tenn visit the week after his CU Trip


Then last week he was on one of the recruiting network channels and was talking about what he's looking for in a schools pitch to him and he said something to the effect of “Just Dont sit up here as a losing team with a 4-8 record or something like that and try to sell me about national titles because I can see through that..like be more realistic than that lets talk about a winking record or a conference title first and what your plan is for me to get to the NFL” it was essentially a we don't believe you you need more people moment for his recruitment and seemed directed with that specific record part

I like that he has Maryland in his top 6, which tells me that he’s interested in giving black head coaches a shot, even if their programs aren’t at the level that a recruit of his calibre would normally consider.

Although Prime has exceptions (Travis, Cormani) a school like Colorado isn’t in position to obtain the services of some of these guys they are targeting.

They need to target some realistic guys, but of course Prime doesn’t want to develop anyone.
