not so fast. CU had separate coaches for DTs and edges. Nick coached the edges not the DTs, that was Sal. coach sal has experience coaching special teams as well so they may intend to move him there and have Sapp coach the DTs.

That’s one way to look at it ..another is this young black coach getting an opportunity to grow… Im not worried about the recruiting element they’ll be fine

will the ceiling elsewhere be higher than at CU I suppose is what he'll have to ask himself. as far as recruiting goes it will hurt as he is one of the best recruiters CU has. He is definitely great in the southeast.

He is, Prime was moving heavy in Georgia and Nick Williams is the key. This is a big hit. These young boys don’t care about Prime like that. He is too before their time. Db’s or Florida/Texas boys may but other states not much. You need them heavy hitter recruiters.
