Anyone know a good rooftop restaurant/bar with decent food? What about any good dispensaries? My boy wants to check one out since he into that type of thing and so far he's found one called Sunnyside and one called Ascend. Are those decent or should he look at another one? Also any bars or venues that show ppv events? Whats the covid situation like over there? Any lockdowns or anything like that going on or lot of places being closed?

Sunnyside is crazy expensive and the process for getting in is long and unnecessarily pretentious. Ascend used to be called MOCA until they were recently bought out. Ascend at either the logan square or downtown location would be your best bet for sure. Also, THC-Center is pretty chill too. Sunnyside is for the Wrigleyville yuppies.

I know the owner gets all her meat and seafood fresh daily. That’s why everything is so fukking expensive. The owner fine af too. I haven’t been to Ohh we yet. shyt stays packed and they don’t offer takeout at the city location. I’m not about to drive all the way over east to their take out spot in bum ass Burnham

Yeah the owner is a cutie. She’s a soror of mine. The food is fresh, I’m just not sure the chicken is prepared fresh when I order. It taste like it was all fried in the morning.

And yeah, I’ve had to travel all the way from Lincoln Park out to Burnham plus there are long lines out the door plus it takes about another 20 minutes to get your food. You will be waiting about an hour all in all.
