If you or anyone you know gotta go to the dmv, do yourself a huge favor and make the drive to the one in maywood, 1000 25th Ave to be exact

Also, some things you can't get done at certain locations. For instance, you can't transfer plates at Midlothian....you have to go to King Drive

When I went back in July, the Heights was closed due to a fire, and Midlothian was closed due to a Covid outbreak. The closest DMV for south suburban folks is the one on 95th. I went up there and the lines were damn near circling around Chicago State.
Although, I live in the city, I've always went out to the burbs for the DMV because I can't stand the long lines. Specifically, I always went either to Midlothian or Melrose Park because I've lived near both locations and it was always in and out.
As I was driving on 290, I was going to go to the one in Melrose but said let me drive out further so I went to the one in Lombard. Took me three hours but I was out by Noon.

So I just said fukk it and made an appointment for tomorrow afternoon after work
