She fukking failed Chicago and we’ll be feeling this for decades to come.Thats why I wasn’t hearing the “what was she supposed to do?” Bullshyt people were kicking. There was no police presence anywhere else in the city that resembled anything protecting downtown. No she on the south and west side asking them “should we open up”, when the real question is why wasn’t ore shut down? NOW streets are blocked off, bridges raised after the worst has been done. fukking insane.
I really don’t know how we’re (Black people) going to recover from this breh. They set us up for failure. There were more police in little village than anywhere else I saw out south.

I still haven’t heard about the Whole Foods in englewood. I really hope that shyt didn’t get looted. Not many options in that area

But yeah..this may be a wrap for Lightfoot :francis: the optics aren’t looking good for her

Cicero Ave not the suburb. Why would a kid from Cicero the suburb go to Curie huh? Cause that’s the original point of this whole bullshyt that you started. You clearly got confused :laff:
My ex's little cousin lived on 38th and 57th in Cicero. But he was a Latin King and everybody at his school was Ambrose and 2-2s so she let him use her address on 50th and Lorel (just 2-3min down the street) so he could go to Curie which had more Kings and he could walk home as long as he stayed on the North side of the street on Archer. Its not far at all breh.

I was drinking and thought he was talking about the suburb but Cicero Ave isn’t far from curie either

that's obvious, but the mayor straight up lied and said that they weren't giving certain areas preferential treatment over others which is obviously bullshyt. I been all over the the south side and a little bit on the west side, and there's significantly less police presence as there is in the small stretch of downtown and the near north side.

They had like five precincts worth of cops in Uptown the other night. She threw everyone on the North side. :francis:

Neither the street Cicero nor the suburb of Cicero is far from Curie. The street cant be more than a few blocks (10 max) and the suburb is like 2mi away. Maybe 2 and half. He usually would leave school, come to her house and wait for either me or her to come home before he decides if hes gonna stay awhile (and eat) or just go home. We would usually give him a ride so he dont get caught up on the bridge walking up Central. Every now and then, he would ride his bike home and it'd take him about 10min from her house or 20min if he rode from Curie to his house in Cicero. Not far at all.

They're about to choke our communities breh..

And the people who looted everything in the black communities will have 0 input on what we should do next..

Very telling and interesting times coming up..

I mean, everybody.

I was watching a helicopter feed and they had police SUV lines like a mile long.

In person they had thick levels of cops. I mean however dense the protesters were, but just cops, from Clark to Broadway on Wilson. I have never seen so many cops. :dwillhuh:

They they were just bunched up walking East and west. Nothing more. Stupid ass CPD and Lightfoot. You could hear on the scanners literally blocks North or South things are getting looted, breaking and entering, gunshots, but they wanna try to cram the Wilson/Broadway intersection for no fukking reason. I went West and took California home.

The bit of evidence is I remember some cop on the radio asking for help on the Southside and the dispatch told him he was on his own that night. :wow:

You’re right. So maybe a lot was the wrong word. I only know of several. And there’s ways you can get around that. Especially if you’re on curie’s basketball team...But I’m not going to get into it. They have a good squad, won state a few years back.:hubie:

I mean, sure, besides using a fake address. We had nikkas from Austin coming into Oak Park for school all the time. Same up north, Rogers Park nikkas using an Evanston address to get into Evanston schools. Though, I never heard instances of nikkas from the burbs attending CPS unless it was private. I know folks that commuted in to attend Latin and Lab and know some folks that attended Mt. Carmel, but those are private and don't have the residency restrictions like CPS.

Did you go to oak park or fenwick? And sports and gang shyt is usually the main catalyst for that move in my experience. Had a cousin who lived in south suburbs but used my uncles address and went to Simeon to play basketball.

I see black folks leaving Chicago. Surrounding states and South will see a even bigger uptick in transplants. That’s how destroyed some areas are

I stay on Michigan and Cermak but they got too many cops and trucks right at the intersection blocking it off and all i hear all night is noise, them talking and trucks cranking and cars pulling off so Im back at my place in Bronzeville just so I can get some decent sleep. I mean usually on Michigan, theres this crazy breh thats up all night yelling and singing but I got used to him. Dont even hear him now. Even my damn dogs have gotten used to him but all this damn cop noise outside? :francis:
