About a month or 2 ago I posted a good batch of popeyes chicken with harold's mild sauce and claimed I found the secret to life...

The reason I bring this up is because a bunch of chicago nikkas on my FB feed claim a harolds sandwich would shut shyt down...



But let's keep this shyt 100 and funky....

There is a reason nobody orders harolds with no sauce....the actual chicken taste ain't nothing memorable at all. Their Mild sauce, which is without question best in the city over everyone, even Sharks, is what makes the taste, not the seasoning in the chicken.

I lived there from age 6 to 13. There was always gully parts even back in the late 80s/early 90s. Lot of drug dealing around them Innsbruck and Breckenridge apts. Lot of section 8 cats moved out to the western burbs from the city....evven in Naperville

My family is from down south so maybe im spoiled from all my aunties that made fye homemade fried chikken. At best maybe a little hot sauce but honestly if the chikken cooked n seasoned right yiu dobt need sauce....just like how steak is. You dont drench a prime cut steak in A1 sauce
