BK The Great

Or he might just be a punching bag in the league. This is just the summer league, we don’t know how well he can play with the big boys on the court.
Already seeing he ain't afraid.I see a lot of folks quick to project him as a bust all because he doesn’t look the part, but when you have length and BBIQ, it’s hard to be a bust in today’s league. They’re the two most important things that allow you to stay on the floor in the current climate as a big man.
To go along with the fact he can handle the ball, he can shoot, he can finish, he can switch onto wings/guards and unlike many long, lean white players who’re finesse — he ain’t no p*ssy (he’s spoken about how being clowned for being white with a bowl cut growing up gave him the ability to show he ain’t no punk). He ain’t afraid to get physical and do the dirty work. Who knows if his frame/durability will allow him to have a long career with his play style (all dependent on how strong he can get and how he grows into his body), but if his name wasn’t Chet and he didn’t look like the end-monster in a horror film, there would be a lot more talk around his actual game rather than projecting him to be a bust based on his appearance.
Gotta say that Chet looked good tonight. With Chet, my issue is what I saw in the tournament. When the competition got stronger, he was way less effective on O. He became a sort of secondary player. Not quick enough to beat his guy off the dribble, not strong enough to finish in the paint. I think he will be a fine defensive player, high impact rim protector but I don’t ever see him as a go-to guy on the other end. I think he will have a career where he makes the all star game a handful of times but far from a franchise altering player.
Chet has the skill level to be good off-ball. Okc would be idiotic to trade Shai, he's gonna make things easier for chet. Alot of young players have their growth stunted by playing with insufficient guardplay and playmaking ability.Teams might need to start getting that Shai package together because I don't think he's gonna mix well with Chet. Chet gon need a lot of touches...
Yup. Same with LeBron. Only about 16 years of excellence and then he got more injured as he got older and he was only really good after that. We seen this movie before. He'll be fine as a player, but nobody knows for how many seasons. Porzingis looked great too for a couple years before damn injuries.
I don't understand what you mean. Bron had one of the longest primes in NBA history.Yup. Same with LeBron. Only about 16 years of excellence and then he got more injured as he got older and he was only really good after that. We seen this movie before.
