I remembered seeing this thread. I just started playing chess.com with a couple friends from work. The computer kicks my ass, almost threw my iPad when it beat me in 3 or 4 moves. Don't feel bad getting beat by friends cause they show what I did wrong and offer advice too instead of just mopping the floor with me.

I had a buddy fancy himself as a chess master. I never bragged about how real i keep it. Ended up crushin him so bad i think he closed his browser *by accident* because the game just stopped as his team was getting bodied. He never asked me to play again. I dont play for checkmate, i play to annihilate the whole team.

I used to play chess as a kid and now just got back on it. I actually got a membership to do unlimited puzzles on the tactics trainer on chess.com. It helped my game a lot already in the past few months. I even beat a chess teacher at a Starbucks

i'm glad this thread was made...i have been infatuated with chess for years now...i taught myself how to play about 3 years ago and have been challenging kats ever since...such a respectable and skillful game...i love it...
