So what it is is an International Hiphop Festival that takes place over 2 days. They basically take over an area and have so much shyt going on like rap battle cyphers, break dancing cyphers, graffiti artist doing their thing, and a bunch of other shyt.

Imagine Speed Street for hiphop!

That going down Oct 9-10 on Tryon and I believe that can be huge year by year as it gets momentum

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A trial date for Officer Randall Kerrick has been set.

Court officials confirm to NBC Charlotte that Kerrick will be tried on voluntary manslaughter charges on July 20. As of now, the trial will happen in Charlotte.

Judge Robert C. Ervin will preside over the case. He is based in Burke County.

Kerrick was seen in public for the first time in December since Jonathan Ferrell's death. Ferrell, a former FAMU football player, wrecked his car in west Charlotte in September 2013. He went to a nearby home for help but the owner thought he was trying to break into the house. Responding officers confronted Ferrell, and Kerrick fired 12 shots at the unarmed man, striking him 10 times.
