Five Points Plaza having a grand opening. Not from here but seems to be a predominately black area according to the site.
They have a schedule of events including double dutch, an art walk, & that black outdoor skating rink that was posted in here before.

I went to the Two Scoops location in Mooresville. Two Scoops is a Black-owned ice cream shop.

I was reading a sign in there that said they had to raise prices because the price of dairy is going up. At the end of the sign were the names of the people who own the restaurant that is attached to Two Scoops, so I guess that is a franchised location. But under their names they wrote "Let's Go Brandon."

I don't care if the restaurant owners like Joe Biden or not, but we know that phrase is a dog whistle for a certain type of person. :mjpls:

I've never seen anything indicating that the original Two Scoops owners are like that, so I just won't be going back to the Mooresville location.

@Responsible Allen Iverson one of their owners rich Moyer is a typical conservative cac. :mjlol:

Posted this talking about don't let the media divide us.

I did some more research on this. This dude you posted is one of the original owners of Two Scoops (The other two owners are the Black dudes). He also co-owns some other businesses around Charlotte.

The people who own the restaurant in Mooresville are his parents.

All of them are conservative CACs. The mom who owns the restaurant said that mask wearers are the people catching Covid on their Yelp page when people were complaining about them not wearing masks during the lockdown. The son had a rant about the governor being a tyrant on a news page that I found. We know what time it is when it comes to these types of people. :mjpls:

I was going to just avoid the Mooresville Two Scoops location but I might have to stop going to all of them. :francis:

There's other Black-owned ice cream shops in the area. Xcite's Sweet Connections is in Gastonia. There's a make your own soft serve ice cream place in Harrisburg called Frozen Kups. Super Icy Brothers is an Italian Ice place in Carolina Place Mall. Popbar in NoDa is a Black-owned franchise location.

Us not going ain’t enough

We need to do them and give them that same energy as CANDY Bar in the Epicenter and Butters in Music Factory a few years back
