the big 4 all have offices here. that's all I know. My ex worked for deloitte first and now ernst and young. she was always coming to charlotte for work.
i did. it was different for employment, i came down here for a teaching program, similar to teach for america. I didn't have a job until the summer ended, but I knew that was the case. I trained in the program and did not get paid. i made it off like 4k for my living expenses
There's plenty of jobs here. I sub leased a furnished apartment from a college student over the summer at UNCC for my first place. good short term solution. cheap and you don't need furniture or a bed or anything. I was like 24-25 though
For me I’m bringing my family down there me, the wife and my two boys.
Problem I have is, I know no one down there. I have some very, very distant family in Carolina. Every gig I have had even the IT gig I’m working now. I garnered through my network.
I have to start building my intercontinental network, now.
You from Detroit?
I'm sure there's some IT jobs here. This city is expanding like crazy. There's always cranes downtown. Plenty of businesses and industry.
If you don't know anybody you can holla at me. I got a wife and 2 sons as well.

Yea man there's parks everywhere. Free splash parks. Get 80 degree days into october. Uptown is small and walkable. I don't know how old your kids are but the libraries are on point, they have a good children's museum. Carowinds (like cedar point) is down here with a water park.
There's mountains 45 minutes away. Multiple beaches 3.5 hours away. Charleston is 3.5 hours away. Savannah is 3-4 hours away. ATL is 4 hours. Gatlinburg is 3.5 hours away
Whole lot of detroiters here. My neighbor when I stayed in an apartment was from the D. I moved into a crib and my next door neighbor is from the D lol.
City is clean, safe. The hoods don't even look like hoods. They're clean. You can move around with peace of mind.
