Tell me where to go, I want to avoid a night last night. What are some diverse open mic, live music, type of spots, that's my vibe, frfr.

I swoop in and out every now and then. But I haven’t been on the scene when I go over the past year . It’s just been business lunches and work , then I’m on the highway.

Everybody I know that’s really getting money has started a family and they have moved outside of Charlotte city proper to the surrounding towns and counties ...




But they do have a growing arts scene on a black, southern bougie vibe you might like . I just can’t name any because I’m not connected to that scene down there . It’s a few guys in here who have posted some good spots .

Not fukkin with the du rag fest ?

I forgot about the mansion parties too ... ever fukk with those ? My homie is a promoter for those in Charlotte and Raleigh ... can sometimes find a more “polished” crowd there... at least in appearance

It’s cool to me ... I fux with it ... but some expecting more “polish” in a majority of the entirety of the city’s night spots might be shocked .

Good looks, dawg. I ain't know about the Urban Site. I hit Sports One on a Thursday night back in December mainly for a bite. shyt was dead. One of the Hostess/Waitress was bad though.

Hitting Happy Hour with some coworkers tomorrow. May stay out and catch the game.

Not 100% sure cuz it's been a while but I've been there on Saturdays & it was aight. Only specific night I know about is Snug Harbor on Central Ave has hip hop night every Monday & it's always a mixed crowd. The outside patio plays fire boom bap & inside a little more mainstream.

Have you been to Club One in Music factory? It was fire when it was Club Butter years ago but I haven't been to it since back then.

I never got a chance to go to Butters

I remember when they had that racial incident where they wouldn’t let this black dude in.... who if I recall was with a white girl and unbeknownst to them she was connected and that shyt got a huge amount of bad press.

It seemed like shortly after that it closed.

I used to like that other club on the side of the Comedy Zone area..... wasn’t that Label or something? That was white girl central but that was a cool spot

Walk in & there's nothing but 7's & up + good music. We get drinks & tell them to come over there instead. They text us 10 mins later saying security told them they had to pay a stack for a table bc they were over capacity (was nowhere close to capacity). We're all Black but his coworkers were chubby & not the cutest. So me & the homie stayed in there & had a helluva night . Then that racist shyt happened & it was a wrap for them.

Label is called World now & they're still the #1 spot on Sunday nights but ratchet as fukk. Cops everywhere & nikkas still get shot in parking lot

Nah, I haven't. One of my homegirls was telling me to check it out. I went to that RnB Only joint at Filmore - It was the same weekend as the B2K Tour shyt so the crowd was kinda light. Still a decent amount of talent in there. & the DJ Killed that shyt!
