BoMac said Boots looked phenomenal while Norman Sr. said he looked average against someone who was tailor made for him. I find the truth to be somewhere in between but definitely closer to BoMac take than Norman Sr. Boots can be a HOFer, but he cant waste time. He is kinda behind as it is considering Shakur is a 3 weight champ at the same stage. I dont get why so many people think Vergil should be favored or will beat him. Boots is that guy. He can be beat but I would favor him in most fights right now. I will say, we really dont know how good Norman Jr. is...and he is only 24.

It looks like Normal is fighting the Japanese guy, so if Boots can't confirm a barrios fight for summer I'd finess my way into an IBF eliminator or WBA for a 154 debut based on status and then position for WBA 154 w Bud/vacant or IBF

It's why I would favor Vergil Ortiz slightly & give Norman Jr. a chance to hurt or stop him even though I favor Boots. Norman jr. presents problems Boots hasn't faced. Someone just as athletic as him if not more, someone just as fast if not faster, & someone his own size that can really crack. In Norman Jr's last fight, I saw him not only counter but punch in-between shots & that makes him very dangerous as well. Especially since he can already punch & Boots has Swiss cheese defense lol

The Buffalo Bills of boxing , breh was a ABC wide world of sports/Saturday afternoon staple, as was Marlon but he always lost the big one. . Someone like Andy Cruz needs to look at dude's career and make sure he doesn't fall into the same circumstances given he was elite as an amateur as well.

you know, I am not really as concerned with Boots getting hit. if he really wanted to he could stink the place up and you wouldnt be able to touch him. he has bad habit of pulling straight back with head in the air. this is how Donald Curry got starched against Mike McCallum. it takes a very skilled fighter to catch someone like that. this person cannot take a step back. he has to be going forward at all times but have the speed and athleticism and timing to be able to catch him. the possibility is there for the top 154 guys but its also there for a ww like Norman.

we are focusing a lot of Boots weaknesses because he is the guy. what about the other guys weaknesses. Madrimov movement gave Vergil a lot of problems just like he did Bud...the fool just wasnt throwing no punches...just like against Bud. Boots will be throwing punches. they can all beat him....I just wouldnt favor them to do it.
