Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions have not been particularly active in recent years, especially following the closure of Showtime Sports in 2023. Since their deal with Amazon’s Prime Video, there has been four pay-per-view events in 2024 and one non-PPV in October. The lack of activity has been widely discussed but sources have revealed to Dan Rafael at Fight Freaks Unite that the activity looks set to increase in 2025 with plans for Tim Tszyu to return.
Tim Tszyu Next Fight: PBC Reveals Plans for Comeback Bout
PBC Non PPV Schedule
PBC have two big events in the first part of 2025, with David Benavidez and David Morrell colliding on February 1 and Gervonta Davis and Lamont Roach Jr. meeting in March. The plans for more non-PPV cards are in the works, which will see Keith Thurman face Brock Jarvis on March 12. This fight will be PPV in Australia but there are discussions for it to stream on Prime Video or be shown on the PBC YouTube channel as they have the U.S. rights.
Unified super welterweight world champion Sebastian Fundora will face Chordale Booker on March 22 or 29. Rafael also reveals a Fundora vs. Spence fight is a possibility for the summer should “The Towering Inferno” defeat Booker. The source also reveals that Fundora could possibly face former undisputed super welterweight titlist Jermell Charlo.
In other fight news from PBC, Elijah Garcia will face Terrell Gausha on the Fundora-Booker undercard. Garcia will be eager to return to form after his loss to Kyrone Davis. Garcia-Gausha was due to headline a non-PPV Prime
