We will see man 140 needs some action. The only one who’s really been active is Jack. Which is wild cause he doesn’t have a title. These belt holders gotta get it on man. Super six this shyt or something. Lots of talent but zero unifications.

exactly. Teo vs Hitchins winner vs the winner of Garcia vs Haney would have been a nice mini tourney at 140. Timing is off and these dudes want to go to 147 sooner rather than later.
Don't like Boots fight for Teo...or any of the other guys moving up honestly

Didn't know it was a 3 fight deal:leon:

So is Canelo done with PBC? Turki got Canelo to agree to one fight he claimed he'd never do, wonder if they can get Canelo to fight winner of Benavidez/Morrell

Lame ass nikkas

Don't know why Teo is treating this fight with Hitchins as some tune up. That is going to be a real tough fight for him
Teo never looking good against guys with a good backfoot/counter game, he often looks sluggish when he has to lead the action. Hitchins has the right style to win this, it's unlikely that Teo will throw volume and outwork him, that would be something we haven't seen so far from Teo.

I'll give him until March to have something officially lined up.
It's a pity that the career of the Charlo twins fizzled out the way it did.

Mell hasn't done anything since his 0 effort performance against Canelo but at least he became undisputed at 154 before.

Jermall though... I still remember the period when based on their performances he was the twin who was predicted to have a better career down the line but then he moved up to 160 and all went to shyt. It was a dead ass division apart from a small window of time when Golovkin, Canelo, Jacobs, Mall and Derevyanchenko were all still in their primes or close enough to it and all competed at 160 but due to boxing politics and probably a lack of effort or willingness he only got to fight Derevyanchenko out of these.
He looked good in that win but soon enough he became very inactive and he fukked up out of the ring multiple times too.

They are 34 yo, wondering if we gonna still see something impressive from them in their remaining career

Why fighting smaller guys like Teo, Hitchins, Haney or Ryan Garcia worths it for Boots?
Dude can barely squeeze himself down to 147 as much as I can tell.
If he beats them he only gets moderate credit being much bigger than them and if he fukks up and loses to some of these natural 135/140 guys then it's a disaster to his reputation, his stock drops a lot and he won't be considered as an elite guy anymore.
So why is this the direction they are taking, is the money THAT good? Based on these new it sounds like they let go of a Vergil Ortiz fight even though that would make a lot more sense in boxing terms and it's also a big money fight.

Turki should be aiming for a Boots/Stanonious (which looks to be confirmed) and Barrios/Norman Jr tourney with winners undisputing end of 2025. Boots should not be wasting time with that Ryan/Devin shyt
