Mell has been moving weird like Spence.
I really don’t like this trend I’m seeing with black fighters getting in this weird space where I can’t tell if they’re retired or not.
I actually like what Charlo did. Take some time off after fighting that far outside of his weight class. Don't Roy Jones it and try to come back down in 6 months.
Now if there isn't anything on the docket for him by March with something planned in April, then we have a problem.

Mell posted some training footage on IG. I’d prefer to see him take over 160. If he can get Lara’s WBA, and get Jannibek then we could see a Ryhiad Season Superfight of Mell vs Hamza(assuming he beats Adamas) for undisputed.
Win or lose after that he should retire as he’d get a great payday and be potential two time undisputed
