It is an issue which is why he won’t be having any big fights stateside. He lost out bad in LA spending all that money on Bud.
The Saudis also want the high profile fights for themselves. They’re exporting the sport.
No matter how much money a person has (or has access to) no one likes losing it with no return. All of the mega fights are going to be in front of low energy Saudi royalty crowd.

this...thats why all this outrage of what saudis are doing is minute to me...everyone who has followed boxing knows what led to it..whether they want to admit or not..sportswashing, monopolizing, whatever you wanna call it...it could have been prevented but it wasnt and here we are
the only bad thing about this is disappearance of boxing on regular TV or premium channels...i personally never cared all that much on where the fight was being held (outside of the pandemic where they decided to hold all these cards less than 2 hrs from me and i couldnt go to them
)..but it should have a presence on TV outside of streaming platforms
