i wouldnt say all that..floyd did have some trouble with him because augustus was landing shots at angles floyd was not used too plus catching him at long layoff...he also busted floyd's nose too

I disagree, I don't think the fight was that competitive. Augustus may have had moments but dude really got his ass beat.

However, I do think this is a fight where Floyd may have underestimated his opponent based on his record. Augustus was definitely better then his record indicated.

lol yeah it's too soon for these promoters, gotta let it marinate. A lot of these fights really won't happen until these guys are at 147 to maximize their paydays.

Now someone like Tank is naturally smaller than these guys, so they need to fight him now. If it doesn't happen now, it'll never happen. Tank is going to be a career 135 type of guy that may step to 140 for the right fights.

For those who attend boxing events, is smoking that prevalent?

I went to my first this weekend for the Wilder fight. There were people smoking in the arena. I hate being around smoke of any sort.

I would think sitting closer there would be less people smoking.

so apparently all the "robbery" talk regarding Mayer/Baumgardner on twitter is based on folks watching the Sky Boxing broadcast and apparently Sky had Mayer easily winning. I don't see how Mayer won that fight, best case for her is a draw and that is being generous with swing rounds.
