Is he really someone who lacks given props from media, fans, etc...? :what:

C'mon, we're talking about one of the most hyped fighters of our time, his best win is Martin Murray and in his fans imagination he already beat Mayweather, Klitscko, prime RJJ, the ghost of Ali and who knows who else... :comeon:
He is put by most media members in P4P top 5 which is nonsense if we really put people there according to the quality of fighters they beat.

I'm not one of his hater, all I'm saying that don't try picture the most hyped and backed (by media) fighter on this planet who always gets the benfit of the doubt by the majority as he would be treated unfairly and wouldn't get his due props. He gets even more than that imo

And yes I will give him more props than ever if he beats Jacobs.

From now on, I will repost the tweets I see on here, and you will see what im talking about.

Well, the only GGG stans I follow are @patscorpio, @malbaker86, Fat Dan, and Doug Fischer....everyone else on my twitter list is either a GGG hater or doesn't think he's as good as he says he is.

try some of these boxing sites. you'll see.:dame:

plus most boxers suffer from perception of a real threat. see Floyd happened to have pac.

but most great boxers don't have that A2 rival that people are gonna go crazy over. plus boxing fans are big into u moving up in weight. ray leonard gets more credit for moving up then being a great 147 guy or whatever his natural weight is.

boxing wasn't always like that with moving up in weight. just for u to dominate a division was great but moving up was also great. now u have to move up asap or u hiding ducking n dodging from real threats.

let me tell you unless ggg way lower than his perceived skill level, no one at 168 gonna beat him. the 175 classs is where ggg will run into problems imo.

but in this day n age moving up to 168 is better. after all everyone knows no one at 160 can beat ggg after/if he beats Jacobs. you'll have guys bigger than you, with maybe just as much power. I don't think anyone at 168 except ward would have gotten ggg in the all time great list as a mw-smw but it will be a step up challenge..

thing is, people get mad cause they feel ggg fans will try to make others boxers move up quickly but be okay with ggg being in the same division for 10 years. people feel he should move like andre.(moved up after ggg wanted more time to face him)

middleweight is a very trying division when it comes to the champions

we have a lineal champion who goes all juelz santana when it comes to fighting at the the full weight but willing to face a bum at higher catchweight
we have a man who holds 3 of the belts and scared 2 fighters to giving up their titles within a 12 month span..that may be unprecedented
we have a man who holds the lone piece of the MW belt who talks a gang of shyt and goes all juelz santana when he is called out on it...faces a cherry a year after winning the belt, draining 50 lbs in the process to make weight because he ate too good and nearly loses to said cherry

i just dont like this p*ssyfooting that canelo is doing..i bet you anything he wont enforce a 155 catchweight on BJS

Nah I think he's done at 154-155..(at least for now).. They demanded 155 for ggg cause his dumb ass promoter had said he would be willing to meet at a catchweight then they back peddled.. not to mention the whole "anybody frm 154-168(except SOG) fukkery

I feel you, but at the same time look at this:

thing is, people get mad cause they feel Hagler fans will try to make others boxers move up quickly but be okay with Hagler being in the same division for 10 years. people feel he should move like SRL/Hearns/Duran.

^^^If I would've wrote this 30+ years ago, it would've been just as accurate as you saying this about GGG today:manny:

My thing is I've always said GGG should move up and always bashed Hagler on here for not moving up either (and fighting smaller opponents at HIS class, but wont dare move up himself)........the people who don't is where it looks hypocritical to me. How can one bash GGG for fighting smaller guys, dragging them up to MW, crushing them, and not moving up themselves.....but turn around and tout Hagler as a GOAT MW contender (alongside B Hop, Monzon, SRR, and RJJ) when he did the same thing in the 80s that GGG is doing today:yeshrug:

Gotta remember though.. Hagler didn't have a super middleweight division to move up to.. that shyt didn't come around until the very end of his career.. So I cut him slack... Hopkins is the one who waited too fukking long to move up

so now you going the divide and conquer route I see:heh:

but you already know that's how we do in the ring. we hold allegiance's to our fighters, not to eachother. and when it's not our fighters, we just speak our opinions objectively. sometimes our opinions are the same, sometimes they arent:yeshrug: ......we can be giving eachother props one moment, then goin ham on eachother the next. it's why the ring is the the goat:smugdraper:
