Just been getting up to speed on that Ohara Davies situation.
I think it's disgusting how they've treated him, clearly thrown under the bus. Tony Bellew pinned the Hillsborough thing on him purely because he always gets into it with people from Liverpool and beats their fighters whenever he goes up there. The fighter that OD sent the tweet to was from Hull and was to do with The Sun exposing him or one of his trainers for employing people with criminal records.
Linking what he tweeted to the Hillsborough incident is still a mystery, whole thing has
vibes to it. Eddie Hearn has just used this as an excuse to get rid of OD as I believe he didn't want him to take the Josh Taylor fight, which ofc he lost. Tbf OD is better off with Frank Warren anyway because he knows how to deal with guys who are straight off the street a lot better than that daddies boy Eddie Hearn.
Whats most annoying are these tap dancing bounties and c00ns you see on IFLTV like Spencer Fearon and Johnny Nelson who know EXACTLY whats going on in this situation, but refuse to address it in fear of their masters at Sky Sports terminating contracts and not wanting to fall out of Eddie Hearns pocket.
Thing about OD is he tries to play up to the villain role a bit too much and can be reckless with social media. I said it from ages ago that the people managing him were doing a really bad job. If he had better people handling him they'd put him in check and make him reevaluate his attitude but it seems the people managing him were just letting him be reckless and not guiding him at all.
To me he's a really talented fighter and has a big future ahead of him, he just needs the right people in his corner. He fukking destroyed the last guy he fought, reminded me of Tyson how he just stalked him the whole fight and eventually picked him off.
