Thurman ain't say nothing but facts though. Swift pretty much did enough to allow Thurman to win.

We all know Danny for as skilled as he is, has a bad habit of fighting behind his opponent. He was getting close to clipping Thurman in those exchanges, but he could never force them enough since he couldn't keep up with Keith's footwork in the 2nd half.

Thurman didn't look great, but he won decisively. Swift needs to own his weakness and improve as a boxer. No shame in losing. It's not like he got his ass kicked and dominated.

Pretty much

Hopefully the L makes this nikka stop being so cautious N throw them combos like he did against Khan, Zab, Matthysse

He said he working on the jab more for Rios...if we being honest at the rate his jab was landing vs Keith he throws a couple more each round instead of standing in front of Thurman waiting. ..judges give him the fight :manny:

Yup, hell a hard active jab is how Golovkin beat Canelo.:manny:

If Danny would have used that jab more and stepped inside of Keith to force him off balance while engaging he could have swayed some judges on some effective aggression shyt. They'll see a guy constantly giving ground while getting hit flush with jabs. That's ring generalship right there.

Swift half assed it and still got 4 rds in my book. A much better effort and he prolly wins, unless Thurman digs deeper with an even better effort. Neither gave it his all imo.

Don't see how GGG can beat Canelo the second time around. If the 1st performance wasn't enough on the cards then nothing short of total domination will be. I think Canelo can box well enough to survive and maybe do a little more than last time to get the "win"

GGG couldn't hurt a gassed out Nelo breh. GGG was getting hit easily and getting dominated by Canelo whenever Nelo recovered enough to attack. :gucci:

With all that said, I see GGG going to the body early and speed up the gassing process. :obama:

I meant to say I don't see how GGG CAN beat him (edited original). I think GGG won on the cards but I agree with you that he obviously didn't hurt Canelo, though I attribute that to Canelo's movement and defense. Canelo stamina was enough to be on that damn bike for half the fight and I think that combined with the fact the mystique around GGG power is probably gone to Canelo is going be enough for him to win going forward

I hope Thurman & Garcia never fight again. Both guys are pretty entertaining in general, but stylistically together they created a very boring fight that I don’t want to ever see again.

Why the fukk would anybody book South fukking Dakota to place a televised fight :dead:

Nobody lives in South Dakota, neither of the fighters have roots there either. Like that's mind boggling to me. Could have at least put that shyt in Louisiana :heh:

Canelo wins if he stands his ground more and bring the heat. Pivot to create openings and counter. If he gets on that running shyt again I don't think the judges are gonna be that kind to him this time around due to all the bytching from the last decision. I think Canelo knows this and will take more chances offensively. This could backfire though, if GGG modifies his approach.

GGG won the 1st fight off of ring generalship with his jab. He got in some other hard shots every now and then, but I don't think he every landed his money punch. Canelo was slippery and rolled and defended well enough to where he never took THAT punch clean. I think its because GGG never truly wore Canelo down. His pressure got him gassed, but since he wasn't landing body shots or any type of punches to the chest or forearms, he never got dude fatigued to the point his defense suffered. Canelo stayed alert due to great defensive instincts. Even while tired he instinctively knew how to avoid those big shots or take something off of them.

GGG gotta attack this cat to the point where his body is too physically exhausted to instinctively defend at level 90 -100. Bring that shyt down to like 60% and all that Sweet Pea shyt gets slower an easier to time. Those big shots will start landing more frequently too.
