To be fair ESPN also has Valdez vs Quigg which is a good fight, probably better than LSC vs Mares 2 and they have Gilberto Ramirez fighting too even though he is fighting a guy who’s kinda unknownHBO tweeting about Kovalev and Mattyshe today

Problem is that it’s probably not that easy, probably impossible without being inactive for more than a year. Arum usually offers these fighters extensions WITH fights like a year or more before their original contract would expire and if they don’t accept the extension then there is no fight for them so they have to sit in the shelf for more than a year which is possibly a career suicide and if they try to break off TR with an existing contract then they have to prepare a long lawsuit and that’s why they gonna be inactive. See what happened to Mikey Garcia. At the end of the day they still rather stay with TR regardless of the future prospects than risking a 1 year, 2 years or who knows how long layoff. Mikey sat out 2 and a half years, luckily he came back just like he never left, in his old form but there is no guarantee to that.

I don’t agree with that, Quigg is trash and so far Valdez been struggling he just hype. Plus LSC Mares has Mell Charlo on it whose more of a must watch than all 4 them guys.
Benavidez Gavril rematch (and that’s on the undercard) > Ramirez fight
Stevenson Jack > Bivol Barrera (this fight up against Wilder-Ortiz ft Charlo)
Jacobs Spike trash fight. Andrawde we don’t know who let alone when he fighting again. (these two should be fighting each other)
I’m not saying I won’t watch it all, you know i will but HBO & ESPN getting left behind. Quiet as kept Schaef and Sauerland World Boxing Series got a better schedule

Charlo exciting sure but first we gotta see who he’s fighting and I compared only the 2 fw matchups not the events
I hear you, most fights are interesting...that ain’t enough. My point is it’s clear what network is giving us the best fights/fighters we want to see.
Even Showtime and WBSS effort with their rollout is superior. They care about the sport. HBO does docs/24/7s better than anyone I’ll give em that.
I didn’t even mention the top fights/events just the equal divisional fights that are better.
And that’s just Showtime first half the schedule.

I think Granados is better than Figueroa. Remember, Granados, at points, was outboxing AB....can Figs even box off the back foot? I thought he was all come forward volume with 0 defense.
If AB shells up, it could be a tougher fight than I expect. But, I think AB stops Figs on cuts
